For the past few years I have been obsessed with juicing, but it wasn´t until recently that my love for it grew even bigger! It is such an easy way to get in more veggies into your diet, which will alway be a bonus. Fresh pressed juices are super dens in nutrients, and will make you feel amazing and hydrated. I drink about 7,5 dl to a litre every day, before consuming solid foods. It is a great kickstarter to the day, as you hydrate your cells and get in such a big amount of vitamin and minerals. It does wonders for your immune system, skin, hair and nails too!
Usually when making my juices i generally tend to use 70-80 % veggies, and 20-30 % fruits depending on what juice i will make for that day. I always stick to organic produce, as i want to detox my body from chemicals, not add them back in, and get in the best nutrients that i can possibly get. Organic produce may cost a little more, but it has over 50 % more nutrients compared to non-organic, so for me it is an easy decision! Dont you agree? 🙂
It is important to note that when drinking bought juices and smoothies you should use time drinking it. Do not rush it. The first part of your digestion and nutrition absorpsjon starts in the mouth, so make sure to drink it slowly, and let your saliva blend inn with the juice. This way you do not have to worry about weight gain or bloating.
Today I made my juice with; 2 apples, 1/2 cucumber, 5 sticks celery, 1/4 pineapple, 2 tbs ginger, 4 carrots and 1 lemon.
